Every time, when i try to continue from the where i left the game before, it is taking me to the first level which is frustrating. If someone knows how to solve this please let me know. How do I get my Sims 2 Game to recognize my Neighborhood files?

My game decided to take two of my custom neighborhoods off the main menu after I got about four houses in each. I've tried a lot; making a new Sims 2 File, renaming the files in the neighborhood folder, putting the lots and characters files in other neighborhood folders, etc., but nothing works.
