I've had a sketchy relationship with food for over a year now because of pressure frrom my family to be skinny. I've gone to extreme measure, even experimenting with purging! ):
i'm sick of that world. how can i eat healthy when i see my friends eat chips pizza candy etc.
SO, if i eat SOMEWHAT healthy, like not so much fast food, , fruits, but still some junk food, if i go running a few times a week? will it even out?
today i had an apple, dry cheerios, granola bar, spaghetti, meat, frozen fruit bar, chips, and gummy worms. im going running tomorrow. will gain weight? i wana feel normal but i feel like i know too much about calories and dieting to eat without guilt...Can I maintain my weight and still eat like a normal teenager?
Who's to say what is normal? As for eating out with your friends, the key word would be moderation. Eat smaller portions. You don't necessarily have to run, you can walk briskly and do the same thing. Walk at least 2 miles 3-4 times a week. This will help. The pasta is one thing you should look out for. High in carbs.Can I maintain my weight and still eat like a normal teenager?
Hi!!! What I do to keep in shape is play a sport (so running is great). Also you don't have to eat healthy the entire week, you can still have a little junk food (just don't eat too much). And try replacing some fizzy drinks with water (if you haven't already). hope this helps a little :D
