A truly bi-partisan person has plenty of blame for BOTH Obama and G.W. Bush (please don't use partisan bias to make me choose which to blame).
Bush was the worst President America had ever had up till that point. Obama is the new worst. It's almost like an Olympics contest, who is going to get the Gold for the final absolute worst ever.
Bush started war after war based on misinformation that he was too stupid to check out and verify before plunging in (following his gut instincts, which are terrible).
The wars run us about 5000 men each and $5 Trillion. You wind up empowering people like Chalabi, Maliki, and Karzai who really are the worst sc*m at the bottom of the barrel of humanity.
The taxpayers get soaked. The servicemen get killed or horribly wounded. In the end you bring democracy to exactly nobody since that whole idea is totally preposterous. Bush studied American studies at Yale -- he above all should have known that democracy is non-transplantable. Maliki and Karzai can't order out for it like pizza. It's not on the "room service" menu.
Anyone that denies that the economy was in a tailspin when Obama took office, simply has no memory or knowledge of USA. Bush created the tailspin by doing a poor job regulating the banks and mortgage companies. The SEC and FDIC were run very badly by people who wanted the Wild Wild West and did not truly belive in regulation. So there was none. So the whole world has been thrown into a Great Recession -- due to Bush -- not Obama.
Obama then made things worse by being so hapless, timid, spinless, ineffectual and worm like. He's sort of a watered down version of Jimmy Carter. Can't quite get anything done.
His only skill is giving speeches and writing autobiographies. He's run those into the ground. Nobody believes a word he says. His memoires will only be bought by University libraries.
Obama is a southside Chicago Black Marxist who didn't have ssense enough to govern from the center but chose instead to try to govern from the extreme far left. He's getting worse. His position moves farther left just as he points the finger at the GOP for being obstructionist. He will not consider triangulating and helping out the middle class. He wants to help his Move On and Acorn people. But mostly himself.
Most progressive democrats do not favor more nuclear power plants. But when Obama selfishly sees that there are a lot of union jobs involved in building them and that he can gain support from those guys, he goes forward on a "Me First" basis. What's good for USA comes a distant second, always, with Obama.
Forget about partisan efforts to put the blame on Obama vs Bush. They are the two worst President America has ever had. Which one should get more blame is a true non-point.Does it Make Sense to Play the Blame Game Between Bush and Obama?
I don't agree with your assessment of Obama, its not at all a historical fact, its a subjective determination made after a few months, whereas the problems Bush left are historical fact, with dates and policies that led up to the eventual collapse of our financial system, after unprecedented support by a Republican congress and judiciary.
It seems that you don't approve of Obama when he does what you want, like building nuclear power plants, you ascribe to him, based on nothing, the very worst reasoning for wanting them, that he can only help himself if he helps others is obvious, no president is in any way different.
I don't know if Obama will prove to be a bad president, or the fall guy to the worst president, which will prove to be Bush, but I do know its too soon to call an entire presidency the names you used.
if it's a true non-point why ask the question?Does it Make Sense to Play the Blame Game Between Bush and Obama?
No it is meant to distract while the shenanigans are going on.~!
DEMAND TERM LIMITS
every one plays the blame game. if it's BUSH VS. OBAMA the game will never end. we could go ahead and pick a side but what's the point. u can't blame any one and it's a waist of a breath. so u got something to say hold ur breath. u can only blame the problem. Not the solutionDoes it Make Sense to Play the Blame Game Between Bush and Obama?
Both are progressives get it NOW!
well to not play the blame game at all is to simply say that anything that happened in the past is somehow ok and that we need to forget it and 'move on.'
i call it moral agnosticism - i.e. the lack of any moral code whatever - which is the standard applied to previous administrations and why dick cheney isn't in jail right now.
you are out of your mind if you think obama is even remotely leftist or even liberal - to say he's a marxist just accurately labels you as deeply uninformed.
obama isn't even liberal - or we would have medicare for all right now and guys like tim geithner and lawrence summers wouldn't be in charge of anything - a liberal would have robert reisch in one of those positions.
and so sorry, but the republicans have simply engaged in a boycott of the obama administration - to call it anything else is to engage in the doublespeak you claim to hate so much.
Bush swept into the seat with a lot of baggage, The Florida incident with Gore,
People not trusting the Supreme Courts motives, But failing to look at the overall
disgusting mess on both sides of the issue, So he gets the gig, He is kinda down
home folksy type of demeanor, Tries to connect to the common man approach.
However far from it. The moment he put most of Daddy Shrubs players back on
the team, the handwriting immediately hit the wall. From Ashcroft to Rumsfeld to
the Coffee runner Condi Rice, GWB never once had control. It was all in Cheneys
hands. W was the puppet on the stick.
Lets look at Allen Greenspans role in this game of show and tell. The Fed has never
been the Champion of the People only the Champion of themselves and the banks
they protect, So enter low low low interest rates, And begin spend spend spend.
Working combination for absolute failure, What does Bush do. Decides after 9-11
to start the biggest knee jerk reaction in the history of the Nation. He is going to
form Department of Homeland Security. When all that was required to do was make
each individual director of their agency's responsible for their failures. Then move on.
But NO that doesn't happen. So now we have this cluster screw of idiots running
around saying I'm in Charge and no one else counts or matters. Really a great way
to bring on the old one for the team effort, When I was first deployed to Iraq, I was
running a CID command. We were working with Military Intelligence and NSA,
I am going to deploy with Military Police officers and their support factors and we
are going to go play policeman in a place called Iraq, Which was quite a shock
since, all along I thought we were going to be headed to Afghan first. But when
I seen all the mechanized units, my immediate thought was how many of those
suckers can we put on a mountain. We were going to go to the Dessert not the
mountain. And it just got progressively worse from that point on. High KIA rates,
No one taking charge of the theater, Rest is history.
That's when I decided to retire, I had my line nbr for 0-5, could have stayed, Could
have assured myself O-6. But at that time (Navy) I had more than I had stomach
for.
Joined a very solid Robbery/Homicide unit in the county Im in. And really feel I made
the right choice.
Lets move on to boy king, There is not one thing kind I can say about this man. He
is a clear and present danger to every man woman and child in this country,. He is
seen by our enemies as weak, indecisive, and all mouth, And he is now resonating
that same feeling to the masses of the American People. The only defenders of Obama
are the fools that think the same way he does, They are socialist/marxist wanna bes.
All NO Bama did was put Bush's failed economic plans on steroids, and we are seeing
the painful results of that punch and judy show now. We need a solid hard line committed
person to take that seat on PA ave. Make the hard decisions, quit kissing everyones ***.
and make this country right again. What ever right means anymore.
not really -------- cause it goes back to regan when he ordered the air traffic controller back to work clinton and his nafta jfk and nam nixon and water gate they are all corrupt when you vote its not for who's the best its for who's not the worst so you blme all of them the house and senate also
I don't look at them as the 2 worse Presidents of all times. This is still not the depression of the 1920s and 1930s. However, if you broke a window and I say that you broke a window, I would not classify that as blame. What is the saying about those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. I don't looke at pointing the finger at the epicenter for our current problems as a blame game. However, if you are the person in office and do things to make the situation worse then you get called out for it too.
It is not about blame, but it is about pointing out who had responsibility at what point in time.
No because it wastes valuable energy that should be saved for defending ones position and supporting the candidates that want the best for all American taxpayers, not just some of them. Unfortunately, voters can only choose between the candidates on offer, with the boys in the back room making decisions that will ultimately affect each and everyone of us. The position of president is not the place for on the job training, as we are finding out to our cost.
