FOOD POISONING FOR THE 2ND TIME ??!?

Last september I ate some chicken pakora from our local takeaway (I don't have takeaway very often just as a treat) within hours of eating it I became extremelly ill I have never vomited so much in all my life , I was getting extreme chills and fevers at the same time and the stomach cramps were agonising I ended up getting a blanket and laying on the bathroom floor most of the early hours of that morning because I was vomiting so bad that I couldn't move out of the bathroom I tried twice I even made it as far as downstairs to get a basin but threw up whilst walking back upstairs again it started at 1 am in the morning and went on right through to 8 am the cramps were so bad my hubby got up for work and theres me laying on the bathroom floor shivering and throwing up everywhere so he called the doctors and they weren't very helpful just told him to tell me to drink plenty fluids and try to get up to the doctors to be seen.

I continued right through that day being sick most of the time it was the cramps followed by hours of just retching couldn't even keep sips of water down , eventually my hubby went up to the docs %26amp; spoke to the doctor who gave him some sachets of rehrydration drops to rehydrate me being that I couldn't even sip water without retching they were no good whatsoever eventually he rang so many times she suggested me going to hospital to be put on a drip.

I couldn't leave the house I continued to be ill for days and within a week I could eat again and started feeling slightly better.

However ever since that bout of whatever it was I was really ill for the rest of the year , infections, colds, bugs, flu's %26amp; viruses, basically just everything that was going around by february I'd had five courses of antibiotics for a range of different infections

in march this year I was taken in to hospital but was so ill I ended up leaving without being seen because I was in the waiting room for hours so never found out what was wrong.

Well I never ate chicken pakora again after that incident I always wondered if the bout of food poisoning weakend my immune system and thats why I was so ill afterwards.

Well to fast forward to right now last week I made a big mistake

%26amp; ordered a spicy chicken pizza from the same takeaway ( they had a cheap deal on )ever since I have had extreme stomach cramps and diahorrea which I have had ever since eating it last week , I've now spoken to 5 other people who have also eaten spicy chicken pizza from the same takeaway and all have the exact same symptoms

Yes I know I was stupid to even order from there again but I just put it down to a mistake of them not throughoughly cooking the chicken that first time.

By now it is clear to me that they are not washing their hands properly or something it is definately not a food allergy or intolerance or anything I have as I eat chicken a lot at home etc anyway and of course with other people also having the same symptoms that rules that out.

Anyone offer any advice on what to do ??

I seriously don't want to end up as Ill as I was last time

and I also wonder what causes these symptoms wether it is food poisoning what kind or the food not being cooked properly or them not washing their hands or something ?

Sorry this ended up super long !FOOD POISONING FOR THE 2ND TIME ??!?
This is probably from improper storage, handling and cooking of the chicken and you need to report them to the public health department so it will prevent other people from getting ill. You probably had salmonella food poisoning which comes from chicken and it would be a good idea if you consulted or went to your family doctor with a stool sample in a container for analysis which would prove you have this "bug" and then proper treatment can begin. Make sure you stay hydrated because you lose lots of fluids from diarrhea. Taking some tylenol will help with the cramps and find a doctor you can trust that will treat you for this. You can also go to WebMd.com and type in salmonella and read up on this condition and follow the recommendations there.
