I'm 15 years old and about to turn 16 in a few months. I currently weigh 156 pounds, and my height is 6 foot, 4 inches. I've been trying to lose weight for just about a year now to get my six pack to show. I do mostly crunches, and sometimes planks after every other day, and when I do them, I just do them till I feel an extreme pain while doing them. I go for jogs sometimes every day of the week, and sometimes after every other day.
I just want to know if my weight is healthy for how tall I am, or am I over-weight. I found on a website that it said to eat around 6 small meals a day to increase metabolism and to not over-eat. I've been doing that for almost 2 months now and I haven't seen any changes lately. I'm pretty sure I haven't been eating healthy small meals everyday though, and what I generally eat for small meals WHEN I'm hungry (When I mean eating 6 small meals a day, I mean that being the only thing that I eat) is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (Grape jelly or strawberry), and peanut butter sandwiches (all of the sandwiches I eat per meal are 1 with 2 pieces of bread, and another with 1 piece of bread), 1 small pizza, and I don't think anything else comes to mind. When I eat dinner and/or lunch made by my parents I only eat enough till I'm not hungry anymore, and that's not a lot at all.
I sorta figured that since I'm a child still I could handle these types of food and wouldn't gain any weight from eating this type of food and I am right, my weight has been steadily the same as 153-157 pounds, which is around 156 pounds.
I want to know if a 15 year old that is about to turn 16 could still have baby fat, and I'm beginning to think I do but I can't be sure if it is or not.
I have been looking up exercises to do on the internet with just your body and no kinds of weights, because truth be told, I don't have any weights of any kinds. I really want to lose some weight and get my six pack to show and keep it.Lose weight and get a six pack to show?
Take a tip from me. First go to a sensible priced gym, ask their advice, I see that there are loads of things you're doing wrong. Don't take any advice other than professional advice. You're still growing (outwards if not upwards) its important not to damage muscle and bone, so do go to a gym, a good gym will give you an assessment and then work a training program for you .
Hope all goes well TerryLose weight and get a six pack to show?
