Diet problems and lack of willpower?

I am an extreme junk eater, in fact that is all I eat. Carbs are my best friend and I dunno what I'd do without them. I'm not extremely overweight, however I have gained 2 stone over the last 2 years slowly but surely. I'm currently at 10stone and quite unhappy about it. The longest I've ever lasted on any diet is one day because I just love food so much and it's the only thing that comforts me. I've been really depressed for ages and food is the only thing that cheers me up.. an example of what i'd eat in a day would be nothing for breakfast, a can of coke with a chicken roll for lunch, pizza for dinner with coke and crisps at night with coke. Cola is my biggest downfall as I'm extremely addicted to both diet and original coke. I have no determination whatsoever and feel extremely weak as a person. I hate salads and refuse to eat it and the only way i can eat veg is if it is in a soup and liquidised. I come home from college really late in the evening so there is not much time to go to the gym or anything which makes it harder. Simple carbs are addictive %26amp; can be disastrous to health. The best way to break the addiction is NO carbs for 3 days. Make a batch of deviled eggs, eat one every time you want "something" - have huge omelets with bacon, sausage, peppers, mushrooms %26amp; cheese. Meats smothered with peppers, mushrooms %26amp; cheese - pork rinds %26amp; dip or tuna/chicken/egg salad - sugar free cheese cake. Eat so much you won't feel deprived of anything. By the 4th day, the addiction will be gone %26amp; the low carb way of eating will create a natural appetite suppression that makes it much easier to make healthy choices.Diet problems and lack of willpower?
Well u could actually eat junk food sometimes and still lose weight. Try setting ur limits about calories. I think u should eat about 1500-1700 calories so that's ur limit! U cant go over that! Now u should eat a little but a veggies and fruits and meats a day. Stay away from fried if u can. And start rUnning at least 10-15 minutes a day. Gradually increase what ur doing. It's ok to eat carbs but only if ur active! So if u can't get out of the house buy a treadmill if that makes to much noise buy an elliptical. Well there is the reason why you are unhappy about your weight. If you can't be dedicated to change yourself there is nothing that will actually change. The reason why you only last a day on any diet could be because you drastically change your lifestyle in that one day. If that is right, then don't do that. Instead change something in a day one by one and write that down. If you manage to switch your cokes with water, write that down, and continue that for a week without changing anything else, so eat your pizza, and chicken still. If that works, continue doing that every week then you will eventually have a good diet. By that time hopefully you have a breakfast as well.



For your exercise start with a simple 5 minute walk for the first few weeks. Then add on another 5 minutes, and so on until you reach around 30 minutes. After that you can start jogging for 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, then 15 minutes and so on.



In other words take things slow, very slow. You don't have to change everything in one day, but change then slowly one by one.
