Im a guy.. am i anorexic?

Im a 15 year old guy. Im pretty embarased coming here with this, but i think its better for me to know for sure. Since around september, ive had an extreme decrease in my appetite. on a usual school day i eat a soft pretzel or a slice of pizza and water for lunch, and usually a little something when i get home. i dont eat breakfast and often dinner either. its like i feel and know im hungry, but i just have no appetite to eat. Now, i DO think that i'm fat (i have a moderate 'gut' if you will), and im definetly feel pressured when everyone else at school and in tv and movies has 6 pack model abs, but i would never starve myself. Is anorexia deliberate or something that's subconscious? im wondering this cause last week my mom saw me shirtless and said that im getting 'too skinny'. Ive went from 170 to around 160 since sep. and ive noticed my pants are bigger on me, but i dont see it on my body. i look just as fat as i did a year ago. also, if this has any connection, lately ive been 'passing out' for lack of a better term, for a few seconds at most, mostly while im at home relaxing. i can usually tell when it's about to happen, and ill black out for 3 seconds at most. i just need some opinions, does it sound like anorexia?Im a guy.. am i anorexic?
Whatever it is, it's unhealthy. If you're trying to lose weight, eating only once a day isn't a good way to do it. Your metabolism gets too low when you go too long without eating, and that might even be the cause of your blackouts. It's much better for you to eat three times a day, because that keeps your metabolism steady and helps your body burn calories. If your mother thinks you're too skinny and you still think you're just as fat as when you weighed ten pounds more, that's a very bad sign. An unrealistic body image is a symptom of anorexia. If it isn't anorexia, your loss of appetite could be a sign of some other health problem. Either way, you should see a doctor as soon as possible. Tell him about both the loss of appetite and the blackouts. Be sure to mention your self-image problems.

Loss of appetite is one of the most common side effects of Concerta (see link). You should talk to your doctor about it. Meanwhile, you should try to eat three times a day even if some of your meals are something light like an apple or a banana. Blackouts aren't on the list of side effects, so you may be suffering from low blood sugar or malnutrition. I still strongly recommend asking your doctor about the blackouts, because that could be a sign of some other condition.Im a guy.. am i anorexic?
