I aslo "purge calories" I never make myself throw up, but if i ate a big meal I try to work it off. And im obsessed with food labels.
And the reason I wrote "its not anorexia so what is it?" is because i do really really want to be thin, but im not socially withdrawn, or depressed, and i dont restrict calories like an anorexic would. Because i know that when your calories get too low your metabolism slows down which causes you to gain weight.
Can someone help me figure out what this it??It's not anorexia, so what is it?
It could be orthorexia, being obsessed with healthiness to the point that it's unhealthy (there's a paradox for you). You should see a psychologist or a counselor and get help. Whatever disorder it is, it's obviously impacting your daily life so counseling may help.
BDD?It's not anorexia, so what is it?

its just a healthy diet. you eat, then work it off. thats what the body is meant to do. Eat then burn the extra calories off. you're at a perfect weight and you want to maintain it. don't overeat what you cant work offIt's not anorexia, so what is it?
OCD with the fact that you want to be skinny, you obsess over this desire and will go to extremes to make sure you feel like you're achieving this
duna, my cousin is also like this. its very good, u should keep it up. u seem to know a lot too, maybe u should become a nutritionist :)
Swine flu.
dont worry, your exactly like me. its actually a really healthy way to live. haha my friends make me feel bad about it, but come graduation i looked fantastic in my size 0 dress (without looking boney too!!)
your taller than me tho, im 5' 6"...your lucky!!!
so just keep doing what your doing. its not anorexia, its just being healthy!!!
Is someone in your family obsessed with weight (maybe you got caught up in their problems). What is the reason you want to look great as a teenager? Teens are supposed to eat healthy for the purpose of making their bones and strong and such for a lifelong journey, and not to look good. And you're supposed to be concerned only with educating yourself and having a childhood. Are your priorities messed up? And who did that to you? Certainly you could not have done it to yourself. Are you being influenced by your peers?
I know when I was 5-7 and 112 I was too thin. You also need to know that weight does not equate to looks. Your weight can be high yet you could be in shape because muscle mass has weight to it. So don't compare the two.
When people find they have flaws they ask their parents to cosmetically change them and if the parents can't afford it or don't want to do that then you wait till you've gotten your degree and paid off your student loans and you pay for that cosmetic surgery from the money you worked for i your new found career.
You haven't been out in the world to be realistic yet. People are toned by a sun spray and not from the sun. People use conditioners to make their hair soft. And there are scrubs that make a person's body soft. Women have nice nails from having them done at the shop which costs money (actually too much money, especially in this economy). Understand that these are "paid services" or "bought services" and nothing that comes from natural beauty. It's all fake because of the media. And you need money to do the things you want. So study, get a career and earn it....if beauty skin deep is what you are yearning for then you're not going to "find" it by starving yourself, wearing it off or whatever....it comes with having money and buying your way thru life..
Remember that being too "self" conscious or self absorbed, too materialistic, could affect your finding a mate in a poor choice.
I think you need to be less self absorbed at this age.
