Sharp Pain in my heart when i try to breath deeply?

okay so it happens a lot. usually after i eat something i try to breath in deeply and i get this extreme sharp pain in my chest, always where my left breast is. its not the breast its like inside my chest. and its extremely painful so i exhale and try not to focus on it and try to take small breaths and wait until the pain stops and i can breath deep again. This time it took a min or two, it has never taken that long for me to be able to breath again. ( i ate pizza) Uhm im 16 years old. Relax. The pain you describe ,especially at your age is probably due to a gas bubble located in the large bowel beneath the left hemidiaghram. When you take a deep breath you compress the gas bubble and experience a sharp and severe chest pain. the cause of the pain is in the abdomen but the pain experience is in the chest. this is called referred pain. avoid drinking carbonated drinks when you eat. other possibilities do exist

From what you've described it sounds like a swallowing issue. However I am NOT a doctor so i can not diagnose anything. My suggestion to you is to go and see your Family Doctor and get some tests done. If it happens again and it really worries you then do not hesitate and call 911.
Same thing happens to me. I'm 19. I have been told it was many things. But its my lungs or something not my heart. But I got all sorts of health issues so it could be something completely different then me. Cause I get it on both sides.Sharp Pain in my heart when i try to breath deeply?
it might be puberty or if you went through that already it might be high blood pressure like me or heart problem go see a cardiologist
Me too! Idk what it is but im 16 too and a few years ago my doctor thought i had a heart problem but my cardiologist said im fine but idk why that happens.
