Any good idea how I can surprise my boyfriend who lives in Paris while visiting Paris?

My boyfriend lives in Paris and I live in USA. I'm going there next week to stay with him for a week. I want to plan a surprise for him on one day. Something romantic and something that would interest him, even though I'm a guest in his city so it might be a little hard.



Any ideas how i can make the surprise good even for a real Parisian?



My initial plan was to take him to Milan to eat pizza. However, my plan failed partially because he had some ideas of what my surprise could be and also the tickets got too expensive. I was planning to use Ryanair which offers great prices, but the tickets got a little too much out of my budget.



Maybe something that has to do with hockey, motorcycles, or extreme racing?

I'm thinking of taking him to Versailles, I know he has been there, but it is a beautiful place to visit.Any good idea how I can surprise my boyfriend who lives in Paris while visiting Paris?
ok i have been to france like 3 times and i usually stay there for 3 weeks so i am very familiar to France.... I love Paris

ok Versailles is great but only for the people who know about the history my sisters got bored .... LOOL i was the only 1 excitd and jumping around!

ok did u think about going to the south of France to Nice or Cannes , Monaco or st tropez (such an amazing city u must check it out) they are great fun and the food is amazing! ah writing about them made me realize how much i miss it....

but i never went there in winter :S but i think its going to be sunny!

London is really close you can go there via the Eurostar(train) or by an airplane from easyjet really cheap! London is 1 of my fav citys loads of places to visit and there is always somthing to do!

Take him up to the Eiffel tower for dinner. Great restaurant on the 2 nd floor orrrr, Take him to the Tour Montparnasse for dinner and enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower from there. You'd be surprised how many Parisians have never visited the Eiffel Tower! A remark to one of your answers about getting something at Victorias Secret: Why in the world would anyone buy sexy underwear before getting to Paris?? Take him to the Eiffel Tower. I bet he never seen that...lol
Before you leave stop by at your local Victoria's Secret and buy "something nice". to take with you to Paris.

Then on that "one day" think of something to get him out of the house for an hour and when he's gone put on your "something nice" you bought at Victoria'sSecret, have a bottle of wine ready when he returns laissez bon temps le roulement!, let the good times roll!
