I'm 18 and I really want to lose weight. My weight is making me depressed to an extreme point. Last weekend I spent my entire week crying in bed and literatly feeling pain all over just from my depression. I never want to have that awful feeling again. :(
Here's the thing I want to see results as soon as possible. Here's my plan:
1. I will not eat any wheat foods (pasta, bread, pizza, crackers..)
2. I'm a vegetarian so I will be eating no meat (but I will eat tofu, beans etc.)
3. I will not drink anything but diet soda and water
4. I will not eat after 7:00pm
5. I will not eat sugary pasteries (cookies, cake, chocolates)
What do you think? If I keep that up will be on a path to success? I find it to be a healthy solution!
I'm just very desperate and I really want to be able to enjoy as much of my senior year as possible, without being so terribly depressed... :(

Okay eat wheat foods because they have carbs and you need carbs for energy! Dont listen to other people, CARBS ARE HEALTHY! You need them. But dont eat too much, keep it in moderation.
Dont drink alot of pop mabey a couple of cups a week.
Drink lots of water and alot of milk and juice.
You can eat sugary treats, just dont over do it
Make sure so exercise everyday and eats lots of fruits and veggies
And take vitamins
Hope i helped(:Hi. I'm 18 and I'm....?
Well, don't go vegetarian to loose weight! It doesn't work! TRUST ME! You should eat sugary pastries for every 10 pounds. Drink milk and SOME JUICES. Eat wheat foods too, those are good for you. Here are some suggestions:
Eat your recommended foods groups.
Exercise 1 a day.
Don't have midnight snacks.
Cut down on some sweets.
There you go! Good Luck! I lost 90 pounds when I was 11 years old and it was so rewardingg.
You don't sound very over weight to me but if you feel that way...It sounds like a good diet but you may want to add a little exercise to it. Even just walking for half an hour a day. Diets are good but they don't give you results as soon unless you pair it with exercise.Hi. I'm 18 and I'm....?
You are already vegitairan so I do not think it is a good idea to cut out all meat AND grains. Whole grains are the best form of grains and you need a small amount of grains to be healthy. Also your weight is not that bad as it is. What about exercize??
Exercise.
Fruit.
Vegies.
Water.
Include those and you'll loose weight.
You can still enjoy "naughty" foods.. Exercise!!!!
Wheat is good for you! Eat it! And don't drink diet soda, just stick to water.
acording to your BMI you are average. There is no need to lose that much weight. You are not fat! It is so much nicer to have some curves to your body. Losing some weight is fine...10 lbs maybe but there's no need to go overboard. I've dealt with with weight issues since I was in 7th grade and I know how frustrating it can be to not be the weight you want to be but also you have to accept your body especially if your in the normal range bmi wise. Working out and just eating healthy can help keep you in shape. You don't have to totally cut out everything to lose weight. A cookie every now and then is not going to hurt you. Take it from someone who has a brother who was chubby and started eating only things with fiber and wont touch cake or anything snack wise unless it was fiber fiber fiber, he is too thin now and looks like a skeleton. Fiber gives makes you go #2 alot and thats not attractive at all. Just work out and watch what you eat, not cut everything out, having some pizza every now and then is fine as long as you don't eat like 6 pieces or anything 1 or 2 is fine. and there is a pasta brand called Ronzoni Smart Taste that has fiber in it and it is better for you if you want a little pasta now and then. Just watch carbs, not eliminate them, you need carbs for your metabolism. I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my son and measured out my carbs every meal and was able to lose some weight instead of gain weight while I was pregnant. I was over 200 before I had my son and I was quite some pounds under 200 after I had him. Just watch your portions. Here's what I did. No more than 30 carbs for breakfast, I believe it was 60 carbs for lunch and dinner and then a 30 carb snack before bed. Good low carb snacks are popcorn (not alot of butter, you can get plain and melt margerine on it or something margerine is better for you. It's a good way to lose weight. Watch those carbs and sugars. I think I am gonna start watching my carbs again, it was a great way to lose weight and helped me alot. good luck hun!
