I used to have very heavy periods. On the first day of my period the flow would be so bad that sometimes when I would remove the tampon blood would poor into the toilet. Then it would be light for the next two days. My periods have always been about 3 days long and on an exact 28 day cycle ever since the depo wore off finally about 5 years ago. My periods were very painful as well. My whole body would feel sore and I could barely get out of bed on the first day each month. Now for the last 3 months or so they have been light, still 3 days long, no clumps of lining on the tampon any more, no severe pain. In March I was very sick to my stomach all the time and could barely handle eating. I lost 13 lbs... Then, I started regaining my appetite. I have gained 5 lbs back now. In march my breasts were very sore and were very chapped. Now they don't really hurt, just the muscles beneath them do. My whole body this month feels like I have been exercising hard core. I am very sore all over like I have the flu but I do not have any congestion. My upper back is killing me. My jaw muscles are sore. Every muscle is sore. I have been having extreme headaches every day. It feels like my brain is throbbing against my skull. I tried taking some goody's and it didn't make any of the symptoms go away so I gave up on trying to treat it. I wake up with a stiff neck occasionally. My arms feel like they have been lifting lots of heavy objects but they haven't been. My stomach feels pooched out a little. I feel strange quick stabbing pains that only last a second in my breasts and abdomen. My abs feel like I've been working them out when I haven't been. I used to be a true insomniac only needing about 6 hours of sleep a night, now I am exhausted and tired all the time even if I drink an energy drink I am still yawning. I've taken a million pregnancy tests and they are all negative. I still bleed every 28 days, it's just not the same. I went to family planning to have them test me for pregnancy and they used what looked like a hpt, if I would have known I wouldn't have gone. I was expecting something more accurate. The lady who did the test for me said that it sounds like my periods just turned normal all of a sudden, but I'm not buying it. Normal girls don't feel like crap like I do all of the time. I've been starving to death lately too. I used to only be able to eat two peices of pizza in a sitting and now I am devouring four. When I orgasm the orgasms feel much more intense then before like my whole body is going crazy. Maybe it is from an enlarged uterus from being pregnant? I don't know... My mom said that her cousin had periods for 6 months before she found out she was pregnant. I asked her if she got negative pregnancy tests too,but she didn't know. I'm really worried that I am pregnant and I don't know what to do. If I'm not I'd like to know what is wrong with me so that I can treat it. I'm tired of being tired and sore all over. What do you think is going on?Pregancy Symptoms or Something Else?
I started taking a supplement for cankers called The Canker Spanker, which heals the sores you have and helps prevent new ones. Works great!
Anyway, I noticed while taking it that other pain I was having in varies parts of my body were gone. Go figure. It's worth a try! Check them out online or call your local pharmacy to see if they carry it.Pregancy Symptoms or Something Else?
Sounds like your hormones might be a little our of whack or perhaps they were out of wack before and have come into line now.
I go through cycles where I feel like you do. I also go through cycles were I'm ill the whole time from day 1-day 28.
If your very worried about pregnancy then you should see a Dr and have a blood test done. These don't lie and if it's negative and you don't believe it then ask for an ultrasound of your uterus. This will tell you 100%.
The muscle thing could be from you subconsciously tensing throughout the day or night.
The best thing I could say is see your Dr they can help you more.
