I eat a healthy, balanced diet. Sometimes I eat a little bit too much, and I have a few extra pounds on. I'm trying to lose weight, but not on any extreme diets. No matter how much I eat, I get hungry in the next few hours. For example, I went out for pizza about 3-4 hours ago for dinner. I ate the exact same amount as my family. Everyone is still going on about how full they are, yet I'm feeling hungry. Sometimes, I'll wake up with violent hunger at night. Can anybody explain this? Why am I always hungry?
You might have a really high metabolism. If your in your teens or around there...your body is changing every day. Its normal to put on a few pounds during puberty. All bodies are different. But if your not drinking enough water that could do it. Sometimes are body's are thirsty and our stomach feels hungry. Its actually thirst. Try drinking a BIG glass of water before and after meals. Also drink little amounts of water every 40 to 45 min so your body will slowly absurd the water..It takes the body about 21 days to be fully hydrated so keep at it and your hunger pains should go away. Good Luck
have you been smoking any pot lately??
i so....theres your answers
lolWhy am I always hungry?
i think u have high metabolism rate, so the food in ur body digest pretty fast. try to eat food taht digest slower, like wholemeal and oats
This could be due to a growth spurt or that you are consuming too many empty calories and carbohydrates. In both cases, the best thing to do is eat as many healthy foods as you can. If you are hungry, eat! Obviously your body is needing to be nourished, but in order to not gain a bunch of weight, have nutritious foods. Hopefully this will fuel your growth spurt (and eventually stop once your body has sufficiently grown) and provide your body with good calories and carbs so that it can stop being hungry!
EDIT: Since you have divulged that you are 13, most likely this is due to a growth spurt. At 13, you are right in the middle of puberty and your body is doing TONS of growing! To keep growing and to keep you going, your body is craving more energy, or calories. If you are hungry, definitely eat as it's important when your body is growing. Why am I always hungry?
Sounds like you might have a high metabolism. Or perhaps another thought to consider: you might have tapeworms...but probably metabolism
