Womens lib gone too far?

I think womens lib is too extreme.We have the highest divorce rate in the world , and iv yet to see any study that says american men are the worst husbands in the world.Women in this country dont respect men and dont see them as the head of the family as they once were.Look at all the problems that come with mothers working and not playing their traditional role...#1 divorce rate in the world.Leading country in teen mothers. High juvenile crime rate.Over weight ,no obese children from them eating burgers and frozen pizza cause mom is at work.Recently they had a study that said 1 in 4 girls ages 14-19 had an STD at least once.2 in 4 for black girls the same age.Where are their mothers?

So Do you think womens lib has made our country stronger and better. If so how ?Womens lib gone too far?
Id rather work thank you very much. I am not tryin to be poor, having my husband work 3 jobs be away from home every day all day just to support us.

I do think that women fought for these rights yet did not have an action plan on how to adjust to the changes and the kids are suffering. Cook meals and freeze them. This preprocessed food and fast food is making America obese. Stop trying to live in mansions and having to work 80 hours a week just to pay the mortgage and to pay your 600 a month car note. Your kids need you. They dont care if they live in a mansion. They care if mommy and daddy are there to do things with them. ok im done
Are you blamming women for high rates of divorce, obesity and STDs ?!

What are you from the 50s?

People did not get divored earlier because it was not socially acceptable not because they were happier, obesity is on the rise because men like you expect women to do everything for them, and STDs....... how does that relate to women's lib? It is you men that pass it around most!

All I see is chauvinistic speculation from a man who is likely not getting any sexual attention.
You are blaming on those diverse things on the women's movement?



Find something better to do, please...like studying actual social history and discovering that there were problems looong before feminism...and that the so-called "good old days" weren't always so good.Womens lib gone too far?
I think for the most part, women's lib as gone too far and families are paying the price.

Just today while doing my laundry in our senior citizen complex, an 88 year old women and I (53) were holding our own against a women's libber in a NOW t-shirt.

She was all for working women etc. which I agree women should be able to work if they want to but not at the expense of a family life.

I walked out and the poor 88 year old had to tell this women to get lost.She said she loved working and I told her that's great but why are you still poor, what's so great about just getting by and being by yourself.

I am more for traditional families.
