Would you remember having sex if you were blacked out drunk?

Ok, so I am a 21 y/o male who is in college. This weekend, on Friday, my group just finished out final presentation for our Business Report which was a huge ordeal. We had to present to our professors our findings for our particular area of research. After we were finished we all decided to go drink right when we finished, which was around 11:30 am. I recall everything till around 5, then from 6-8 I have no recollection. I remember being at my place at 8 and watching the olympics/making a pizza by myself. I then woke up at 3 am in my bed with all my clothes on except my shoes and blazer extremely confused. Apparently I was making calls to all my friends during that time period I can't remember but have no recollection of it lol. I was talking to one girl at some point, but things never got to the point where is was intimate, at least not that I know of. I don't even know her name and I see her every day in class, so if something did happen, I think I would have remembered it. So that's out of the question. When I woke up, I noticed a whole bottle of purell that I usually carry around with me in the winter time was gone, so at least I was being sanitary haha.



My question is this: If I did happen to have sex with someone or do something of extreme importance during this time period I can't remember, would I remember it? I know that the brain only chooses to remember certain things when your blacked out, so if this did happen I think I would have remembered. Also, there is no evidence that anything intimate like that took place, since I woke up with all my clothes on, covered in pizza sauce, and every single thing i was wearing (even my scarf) was in the exact places in my room that I usually put them. Pretty much, what does the mind choose and not choose to remember?



On a side note: I almost never drink, and I will not be drinking again for a long time. I have never blacked out before, so this is a new and scary experience for me. I have certainly learned my lesson.Would you remember having sex if you were blacked out drunk?
when i asked a friend of mine who was kind of hung up on drinking he told me that yes, you can remember a lot of things (if not everything) when you are drunk. You just feel a little more free to do things you never actually done. so if you had done something then a slight memory of that happening should be still in your mind.Would you remember having sex if you were blacked out drunk?
You would have a hard time performing, or being performed upon if you were that drunk. Since your clothes were intact, that seems to be the clincher. Don't worry about it, and take your lesson to heart.Would you remember having sex if you were blacked out drunk?
I'm sorry to admit that I've blacked out from drinking on more than one occasion over the years. During one of those times, I wasn't completely sure if I'd had sex or not. I thought I recalled calling a friend of mine who was a sometimes partner, but I honestly didn't remember if he actually came over until I talked to him and confirmed it. I was pretty sure as I woke up naked (waking up naked is common for me as I sleep in the buff) with a condom wrapper stuck to my back. It was incredibly embarrassing to ask him if we had sex, then to ask if I enjoyed it. To this day, I don't remember it.
If you are blacked out that means you will not remember anything. Occasionally, people will have patchy memories because they were in and out of the "blackout" state.

I have a friend who was blacked out and did not remember having sex with someone so I guess anything is possible.

If you woke up with your clothes on I doubt you had sex with anyone. Most highly intoxicated people will not take the time to get dressed after sex and before passing out.
