well im a guy, 19 years old, im 5'5 tall 137lbs, normal weight, i eat normal foods , i sleep just fine, i go to the gym, excersize i do everything a normal person does. however i get extremely bad heartburn. i get heartburn from these foods: (this is just a small list)
rice, donuts, cake, pizza, fried chicken (obviously), pizza, pasta, bananas, oranges, anything meaty such as , cheeseburgers, porkchops, hotdogs, beans, scrambled eggs cooked w/ margarine, tacos (taco bell's tacos), chicken, ground beef, turkey (cold cut), muffins, macaroni and cheese.
just what i can think of from the top of my head i can get it from just the first bite also, and it gets so bad , that i feel that i am choking, i have extreme difficulty breathing, and eventually needing to vomit. and it still dosent go away until i drink milk.
i told 3 doctors and they say "take tums";that makes it worse, i told them, and they tell me to stop eating those foods. been getting heartburn like this since 15 years old.Is this heartburn normal?
O.M.O.M: take the advice about stopping the dohnuts..
but your trouble afflicted myself -at the same age.
It was 'nerves': Social Phobia -in my case.
Do you notice that it is worse when in the city,
-or at [any] gathering? If so, relax; eventually you'll outgrow it.
(But above all, RELAX) !Is this heartburn normal?
I thought I had really bad heartburn like this and later came a big gall bladder attack in which resulted in emergency surgery.
I have since had a heartburn type feeling though not sure it really is heartburn.
You may need to bring up reflux to your doctors. Some drs seem to just look over heartburn. Is this heartburn normal?
I come from a family of very problematic acid reflux on both sides of the family. For me, two courses of Prilosec (waiting the recommended amount of time between courses) seemed to have solved my problem forever.
