I have a special predicament.
I'm an extreme ectomorph (5'8 weigh 111 lb) who's trying to create a successful weight gain and muscle building regiment for myself. My goal is to gain lots of weight because I really lack confidence by being so skinny and bony.
I recently made another post on here on yahoo answers exclaiming how irritated I was. You can read it here if you would like:

I currently weight life and also try consuming approximately 2800 calories a day.
My problem is with eating. From everything I've read my main problem is I have an extremely fast metabolism and require an excessive amount of calories to gain weight. The traditional advice from many weight training people has been to consume lots and lots of calories. These suggestions range from 2800 to 5000.
My problem with these suggestions are that from personal experience they've proven very difficult and unrealistic to follow in the real world. Consuming 5000 calories or even 2800 calories looks perfectly fine when it's calculated out on paper but I find it to eat in the the real world. Also I've been told that instead of eating 3 large meals I should eat 6 smaller meals. Again my problem with eating 6 meals instead of 3 is it's unrealistic in the real world. I currently work a part time job and on long days will work 2 4-hour shifts. I work retail on a sales floor and am not allowed or able to eat while working except on my 1 hour lunch. If there are people out there who truly eat 6 meals a day I don't see how they do it with activities such as jobs getting in the way.
My other predicament is I naturally have an extremely low appetite. On average I'm only hungry enough to eat at the very most 400 calories at one time. Sometimes I can push myself to eat larger meals like a 900 calorie pizza or a 1100 calorie weight supplement shake but my problem is I can't eat these things quickly. It may take me between 1 hour and 3 hours to consume a 900 calorie pizza or 1100 calorie shake. And when I try eating faster I experience a gag effect and throw up.
I also have difficulty retaining weight. If I'm on a weight lifting program and am unable to reach a full 2800 calories every day I end up losing between 1-3 lb per a day.
As you can see I have a lot of things going against me:
[1] Ectomorphic Genetics.
[2] Job schedule ect conflicting with diet schedule.
[3] Naturally low appetite.
[4] Tendency to lose 1 lb per a day on missed calorie days.
So basically I'm wondering if there's any techniques for eating large amounts of food in a short period of time that actually work in the real world with real world schedule constraints. Any techniques on eating are appreciated.
Techniques for Eating Lots of Food?
1) so are most people
2) everyone has a job/school schedule, sneak food like the rest of us
3) suck it up and force it down, make shakes if you have to/eat calorie dense foods
4) you cant be losing 1lb per day, water weight is like 5 lbs everyday
eat fast food if you have to, you need 4k imo, throw stuff in the blender, it's an easy 1k for 2 glasses of liquid, fast food can get up to 1k for a normal meal, lotta people use fast food for high calories, it's unhealthy in the longrun, but if you're lifting big, you'll make legit gain, there aren't really any special secrets other than suck it up and comprimise until you get used to it tbh
